Recently, we converted all of our cookware to either stainless steel or cast iron. It’s considered safer, and they last forever! I don’t want to replace my nonstick pans every couple years, nor do I want parts of the nonstick coating to come off in my food (it totally did after a few years). And they transfer easily from stovetop to oven. So versatile and classic.
Stainless Steel Straws, With Cleaner
I bought reusable straws awhile back. I’m a convert! People swear by stainless steel, and this set comes with a cleaner.
The cleaner is obviously necessary if we’re drinking smoothies through reusable straws. I didn’t think we would use this tool for anything else, but we actually use it all the time – cleaning bottles, lids, and nooks and crannies in random dishes (that apparently never got clean before I bought this. Gross.), etc.
KitchenAid All Purpose Kitchen Shears
One of the first kitchen tools I purchased was a pair of kitchen scissors. I still use them 10 years later. They’re handy for 8 million jobs, but they are particularly helpful while making Spatchcocked Chicken (cook a whole chicken in less than 1 hour!) and slicing pizza (don’t tell my Italian relatives!).

I love glass here, specifically the Pyrex pans with lids. Saves me from using plastic wrap (not good for the environment or budget) when I bring a dish to friend’s house or when I’m covering leftovers at night. Pyrex glass is also extremely durable and lasts forever – or for at least 8 years if I’m only speaking from experience.

This blending tool is far more convenient for blending soups and marinara than dirtying a whole blender. I use it far more than I thought I would.

As I mentioned above, we recently converted our cookware to stainless steel and cast iron. However, not all stainless steel is made equal. I have worked with a lot of sub-par stainless steel pans that burn everything on the bottom and get hot way too fast.

So I tried ceramic coated cast iron. INTERIOR coating. For a skillet. Hard to find. Pricey IMO
It’s not nonstick though it’s touted as so. It IS better than stainless steel, and my stainless is a heavy pan.
But for eggs…noop, not gonna work.
I am so over nonstick for eggs but we eat them daily and often want to scramble or fry them.

Just giving my review. Don’t waste your money.
Uncoated cast iron works really well for eggs if it’s seasoned properly. Butter makes a big difference, IMO. If you can use butter as your cooking fat, I think it makes the eggs or whatever you are cooking stick less. Thanks for the review!
